What is Tilltonic?

Tilltonic is a Point Of Sales solution aimed at small businesses. Instead of having a big clunky till, you can now install Tilltonic on your phone or tablet and use that to keep track of your sales. Tilltonic is easy to set up, requires little to no staff training, works offline, and gives you real time analytics and data on your sales that you can access anywhere.

Can I try out Tilltonic for free?

Yes, everyone is entitled to a free 30 day trial of the full product. You can start your trial by clicking the button below, or by downloading the app here, no credit card required.

How to Register

Registering a Tilltonic account takes about 30 seconds, you can register on either 1. your smart device or 2. web browser.


1. On your Device - Phone(iPhone/Android/Windows) or Tablet(Apple/Android/Windows)

- Download the Tilltonic app

- Click "SIGN UP" and enter your info

- Set your currency

- Enter your VAT rate (if you are not sure what your vat rate is, just enter "0" as this can be changed later)

2. OR to register in your browser, go to tilltonic.com

- Click "SIGN UP" in the menu

- Enter your email address, password (twice to confirm) and choose your currency, and click "SIGN UP"

- Once youve registered, just set your VAT rate (enter 0 if you are not sure what your VAT rate is, this can be changed later) and click "SAVE"

Setting Up Your Till

Setting up your till in Tilltonic is simple, quick, and user friendly.

- Select "Setup Till" from main menu.

- Your first category is there by default, to change the name on it (e.g. "Drinks" or "Food") click "Category Name" and input the name. Select the colour for this category below.

- To add an item to this category, click "Tap to add new item". Enter the item name (e.g. Tea or Coffee), any additional info(e.g. Large or Small) and the amount. Select the VAT/Tax rate then (to add additional VAT/Tax rates this can be done through your web login here).

- To add extra categories just click "Add Category", then tap on "Category Name" to change the name, and select the colour.

- To add items to this category just click "Tap to add new item".

- It's a good idea to save your till setup as a 'Till Template' at this stage. This can be done by selecting "Till Template" in the main menu and selecting "Create New Template" and putting in the template name.

- You are now ready to start your till, so go back to the main menu and select "Start Till"

Tracking Sales and Viewing Reports

Once you have set up your till and have started putting some transactions through it, it's easy to start tracking sales and viewing reports.

- Every time you start a till a report gets create showing you exactly what has been sold.

- To view these reports you just need to go to the main menu and click "Reports"

- If your till is still currently running, the report at the top will show you the live data for that till

- Once you stop a till, a report will be created and listed in the reports menu. The date and time the report was created will be listed

What are till templates?

Templates allow you to

- save your till set ups

- set up your till anywhere and use that setup on any device

- make price changes on your till from the office or from home

- use one till set up on multiple devices (so you dont have to do the same setup per device)

Once you set up a till, go to "Templates", "Create New Template". As soon as you take the device online youll be able to access that till template from any other device or from your cloud account. You can even make price changes to it remotely
